Band: Gorgoroth
Album: Quantos Possunt ad Satanitatem Trahunt
Year: 2009
Genre: Black Metal
Country: Norway
MySpace: http://myspace.com/gorgoroth
Bitrate: 192kbps

Quantos Possunt ad Satanitatem Trahunt is the forthcoming eighth studio album by Norwegian black metal band Gorgoroth. It is set to be released in October 2009 through Regain Records.
Infernus – founding member and guitarist of Gorgoroth – reportedly began work on this album in October 2006 and was first reported writing it when he was released on parole from prison in March 2007. However, the latter stages of the songwriting and much of the recording process would be overshadowed – at least as far as public attention was concerned – by the Gorgoroth name dispute which began in October 2007. Within two weeks of the ignition of the dispute, the album title was revealed to the public.
This album will mark the return of Pest on vocals, as well as the debut of Tomas Asklund (Dissection, ex-Dark Funeral, ex-Infernal) on drums and Bøddel (the pseudonym of Frank Watkins, Obituary) on bass.
Infernus cited Adam of Bremen as the inspiration of the album’s title, although an official translation of the title has yet to be provided.

Genre: Melodic Death Metal
Country: England
MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/carcass

Heartwork is an album by Carcass, released through Earache Records in 1993. The album was recorded at Parr Street Studios, Liverpool between May 18 and June 21, 1993.
The sculpture depicted in the cover art, “Life Support 1993″, was designed by H.R. Giger, and is in fact an update of a sculpture he created in the late 1960s. The video for the song “Heartwork” features a real-life interpretation of the sculpture, including a human welded as a part of it. The album is back in print for the first time in years following the June 2, 2008 Dualdisc reissue.
Michael Amott left the band after the recording of the album before founding Spiritual Beggars, and was temporarily replaced by Mike Hickey. In The Pathologist’s Report, Bill Steer says Heartwork is his favourite Carcass album.

Band: Cannibal Corpse
Album: Evisceration Plague
Year: 2009
Genre: Death Metal
Country: USA
MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/cannibalcorpse
Bitrate: 320kbps

Evisceration Plague is the eleventh studio album by American death metal band Cannibal Corpse. The album was produced at Mana Recording Studios by Hate Eternal guitarist Erik Rutan.
Bassist Alex Webster said about the record: “In Cannibal Corpse, our goal has always been to try and make each new album we record our heaviest. That goal was a bit more challenging this time since we were extremely satisfied with our last album Kill, but we knew that by working with producer Erik Rutan at Mana Recording Studios again, we would be able to start at that same level of heaviness and take it even further. Now that we can hear the finished product, I would say we’ve been able to achieve this goal, and I think our fans will agree. ‘Evisceration Plague’ has the best guitar sound we’ve ever recorded, and the entire band has never played with more precision and power. We can’t wait until you all get a chance to hear the album in early 2009, because we think you’ll be as happy with it as we are.”
